Château La Nerthe, Châteauneuf-du-Pape red, is the soul of the estate’s wines. It has been exported across the globe since the eighteenth century. All the plots of grenache noir, syrah, mourvèdre, and cinsault grapes are planted across the different soil types within the wine appellation, making the style of this wine the full expression of the complexity of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The Cuvée des Cadettes is an entire story!
Indeed, it was the first plot replanted after the phylloxera aphid ravaged millions of hectares of vines. We owe this first plantation to Joseph Ducos, the estate’s owner, in the nineteenth century. Since then, the Cuvée des Cadettes has been made with the best grenache, syrah, and mourvèdre grapes expressing this unique terroir – elegant, intense, sophisticated, and well-balanced. To be enjoyed with wild game, aged meats, and other dishes as rare and complex as this wine.

Clos de Beauvenir

Clos de Beauvenir is named after the Tulle Villefranche family’s old bastide. The old castle garden is protected from the wind by plane trees that cast a shadow during the day. The sandy, loamy soils dotted with rolled pebbles promote finesse and aromatic expression, and the natural springs bring freshness to the palate. This is our interpretation of a confidential Châteauneuf-du-Pape white.

The “Les Clavelles” wine is named after a plot of pure grenache on the western slope of the famous Crau plateau. It all began by simply observing the equilibrium of the location, tasting its grapes, and observing the abundance of this corner of the vineyard. The grenache finds balance here, forgetting its strong character to reveal delicacy and finesse while asserting its full-bodied southern character. “Les Cavelles” should be savored alone to appreciate its entirety.
