Chardonnay 2022
AOP Beaujolais
Our vines flourish around Château de Corcelles. There, the terroir discreetly provides that touch of minerality so characteristic of Chardonnay. Since 2020, oak barrels have been playing their role in giving the wine its delicately woody signature. All that is missing is some fish on the grill for the feast to be complete.
It has a light golden color. The first floral nose evolves towards a complex bouquet blending exotic fruit (lychee) and roasted hazelnuts. Faithful to its Chardonnay grape variety, it delivers chiseled minerality on the palate, rounded by a honeyed texture. It ends with a delicately woody and long-lasting finish—a wine for aging.
