You will find “Les Cassagnes de La Nerthe” in the heart of the secluded massif d’Uchaux. Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre make up most of the red vines. The berries explode with flavor and freshness when they’re opened. And the garrigue is never very far away. This Côtes-du-Rhône Villages has a true identity.

Power, structure and color are undoubtedly the signatures of the 2019 vintage. Deep purple color with violet hints. Very expressive on the nose: the attack is round, dominated by Syrah (Floral notes of violet and spices) but thanks to tannins of excellent maturity, Grenache shows a dense, robust but supple structure. Very good length on the palate, full ripeness and a fine tannic extraction gives this balanced wine a significant ageing potential, a sure bet for the coming years.

La robe claire donne le ton de cette pure gourmandise très typée grenache - cerise à l'eau de vie, cacao, pivoine - musclée par une touche de bois de réglisse, L'équilibre est impeccable, mâtiné par une petite évolution. Des tanins juste esquissés, une allonge très épicée paraphée par de beaux amers,confirment le style de la maison dans une version contemporaine.
