Les Cassagnes de La Nerthe 2022
Les Cassagnes de La Nerthe 2022
AOP Côtes-du-Rhône Villages
You will find “Les Cassagnes de La Nerthe” in the heart of the secluded massif d’Uchaux. Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre make up most of the red vines. The berries explode with flavor and freshness when they’re opened. And the garrigue is never very far away. This Côtes-du-Rhône Villages has a true identity.
Bright garnet color. On the nose, fruity (red berries) and floral (blackcurrant buds) scents along with slight liquorice touches. On the palate, crunchy fruits ('burlat' cherry) mixed with accents of ‘garrigue’ (thyme, olive, laurel). The whole is balanced, waving between liveliness and roundness. The delicate texture of the tannins marks this 2022 vintage and the minty finish reminds La Provence!
