For a long time, the estate’s only cuvée, this wine is the exact interpretation of our terroir, recognized by A.Budker in 1874 as one of the most beautiful in Brouilly. Over time, Burgundian-influenced winemaking emerged, enhancing the fine and intensely fruity Gamay which accompanies traditional Beaujolais cuisine so perfectly.
The wine achieves the delicate balance between exuberance and elegance. The color is a deep ruby. The nose is intense and shows floral notes as well as fresh black fruits and spices: the mark of Château des Tours' terroir. The palate offers a nice freshness, followed by a round structure with soft, lingering tannins.
