Clos de Beauvenir 2016
Clos de Beauvenir is named after the Tulle Villefranche family’s old bastide. The old castle garden is protected from the wind by plane trees that cast a shadow during the day. The sandy, loamy soils dotted with rolled pebbles promote finesse and aromatic expression, and the natural springs bring freshness to the palate. This is our interpretation of a confidential Châteauneuf-du-Pape white.
Pale yellow color with golden hints. The nose of this Châteauneuf du Pape blanc exhales exotic aromas (mango, pineapple) mixed with fresh pear. The mouth is particularly fresh and mineral but rich and lingering. On the finish we appreciate the citrus notes and the balance between depth and the mastered acidity. A great wine to keep in your cellar for a more few years.
