Clos de Beauvenir 2021
Clos de Beauvenir is named after the Tulle Villefranche family’s old bastide. The old castle garden is protected from the wind by plane trees that cast a shadow during the day. The sandy, loamy soils dotted with rolled pebbles promote finesse and aromatic expression, and the natural springs bring freshness to the palate. This is our interpretation of a confidential Châteauneuf-du-Pape white.
Light gold color with green hints. On the nose the wine delivers delicate citrus and lemon aromas along with orchard fruits (white peach) notes. On the palate finesse, complexity and precision. On the finish, remarkable freshness with lots of herbal scents (anise). The wine is tense with
lively and mineral touches on citrus thanks to the great acidity of this 2021 vintage.
