Clos de Beauvenir 2018
Clos de Beauvenir is named after the Tulle Villefranche family’s old bastide. The old castle garden is protected from the wind by plane trees that cast a shadow during the day. The sandy, loamy soils dotted with rolled pebbles promote finesse and aromatic expression, and the natural springs bring freshness to the palate. This is our interpretation of a confidential Châteauneuf-du-Pape white.
Bright color with golden green hints. An intense nose with generous aromas on citrus and orchard fruit (peach and pear) notes. In the mouth this is full-bodied, powerful but fresh. Ageing is elegant, wood perfectly integrated. The finish is long, complex on mineral, vivid and zesty notes. A superb wine to be appreciated in its youth or to wait a few more years!
